Therapy Specialities

Postpartum

After giving birth, there are many new things to navigate for your baby including feedings, sleep, and overall well-being, but don’t forget about taking care of yourself. You may be feeling increased anxiety or feelings of depression, anger, loneliness, and suffering relationship difficulties.  In the beginning journey of motherhood, it is crucial that you get the support you need to manage these feelings. Through the use of solution focused therapy, mindfulness techniques, and cognitive behavioral therapy, I can help you navigate your feelings and thoughts. Together we can look at your goals and help you move forward.

Pregnancy

Are you a mother-to-be who is feeling anxious about giving birth? Are you struggling to manage physical complications or mental health concerns during your pregnancy? There may be many stressors that are impacting your pregnancy and it may be helpful to process them and learn ways to cope. If you are unsure of how to manage your feelings surrounding your pregnancy, let’s talk.

Many times our birth experiences do not go as we may have planned or expected, you may be experiencing feelings of guilt, sadness or confusion about what happened. Let’s process these experiences together, you are not alone in your feelings!

You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
